Stefan was admitted as an advocate in 1999 and practiced as an advocate at the Johannesburg Bar from June 2001 to November 2009. Prior to this he was employed in various capacities by First National Bank, the last being as Legal Advisor of FNB HomeLoans. Stefan was appointed as Legal Advisor and HR Manager of FoneWorx in November 2009 and was appointed Company Secretary of Cognition in February 2014.

Matthew joined FoneWorx in 2003 as a junior developer and has steadily worked his way through the ranks to his current position as IT Manager, a position he has held since 2012.

Jessica started her career in March 2000 as an audit clerk at B E Rees & Company (audit firm) while she completed 5 articles. Once she had completed her articles she was appointed as audit manager of the company.
In 2006 Jessica joined FoneWorx in the position of Group Financial Manager, a position she currently holds.
Catherine arrived in South Africa in July 1981 and in February 1982 joined Shield Buying & Distribution as receptionist and shortly thereafter was promoted to personal assistant to the Managing Director. In addition to this she also carried out secretarial duties for the legal advisor (Mark Smith) and his assistant. When Mark Smith was made joint managing director of Shield, Catherine was Personal Assistant to both MD’s as well as the newly appointed legal director.
In June 1997 Catherine left Shield to join FoneWorx where she is the personal assistant to the CEO, Mark Smith, as well as carrying out secretarial duties for the other directors and senior staff. Catherine is also responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day ‘behind the scenes’ operations in the company.
Laurie is an avid market researcher who has been in the industry since 1986. Apart from her extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies and the entire research process, Laurie has been instrumental in the conceptualization and development of many marketing research and CRM products such as Contact (used by Eskom) IntelliContact, IntelliResearch, SurveyOnline and now MyPoint. This has contributed in making her a top researcher in South Africa with a list of enviable blue chip and parastatal clients that she has had the pleasure of working with.
